| 53RD EASTERN EUROPEAN KYOKUSHIN SUMMER CAMP |

The annual 53rd Eastern European Kyokushin Summer Camp took place at the AWF Kraków facilities from July 16-19, 2026, with approximately 250 participants from Poland, including guests from Latvia, Israel, Moldova, Germany, Hungary, Ireland and Spain.
The head coach was KWF President Antonio Pinero 9th dan, and the special guest was Shihan Javier Lezcano 7th dan. The camp program was prepared by Shihan Andrzej Drewniak 9th dan. Participants were accommodated in renovated double rooms with a bathroom and balcony in the AWF Summer Hotel at 82 Jana Pawła II Avenue.
The official opening of the camp and the photo-taking for the commemorative calendar featuring all participants took place on Thursday, July 17, at 4:00 PM in the renovated Sports Hall and at the athletics stadium. During the official opening, Shihan Andrzej Drewniak was honored by the Kurkowe Brotherhood with the Royal Medal for his outstanding achievements.
Training sessions took place several times a day, divided into groups. During the sessions, a detailed analysis of the KWF syllabus was conducted, focusing on kihon, kata, renraku, and the application of techniques in kumite. A meeting of center managers and instructors was also held as part of the camp.
Exams for the 5th kyu to 5th dan ranks were held on Saturday, July 18, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Nearly 60 dan candidates took the exam, of which nearly 20 percent failed. The official closing of the camp was preceded by a nearly three-hour kumite exam, a photo session, the presentation of certificates, and a commemorative calendar, and took place on Sunday, July 19, at 12:00 PM.
The organizer of the 53rd international camp was the Secretariat of the Polish Kyokushinkai Organization.

37th EUROPEAN KYOKUSHIN CHAMPIONSHIP 2026.
The 37th European Kyokushin Karate Championships took place in Świnoujście on April 24-25, 2026, with 468 competitors competing in kumite (fighting) and kata (forms), representing 25 countries.
On April 23, over 60 judges participated in the International Judges Course, led by Shihan Fernando Perez. The Championships were officially opened by the Mayor of Świnoujście, Joanna Agatowska; Vice Mayor, Roman Kucierski; President of the European Kyokushin Federation, Antonio Pinero; Secretary General of the Federation, Andre Drewniak; President of the Polish Karate Association, Maciej Sokołowski; and President of the West Pomeranian Karate Association, Andrzej Kłujszo. On the first day of the competition, competitors competed on three mats
in the junior, junior, and youth kumite and kata categories. In the evening, the European World Kyokushin Federation held its General. Meeting and Elections, during which the EKWF Board was elected: President Antonio Pinero, Vice President Hristo Traykov, Secretary General Andrzej Drewniak, and Treasurer Tomas Lopez. The date for the 6th Kyokushin World Championship was set for April 9-10, 2027, in Zaragoza, Spain. On the second day of the competition, competitors competed in the senior, youth, and masters (35+) kumite and kata categories. Medalists in all kumite and kata events received artistically crafted trophies and medals. The entire European Championships were broadcast live online.
As always, the auditorium was decorated with numerous banners referencing Japanese culture during the three consecutive European Championships held in Świnoujście (2017, 2022, and 2026). In the evening following the European Championships, a Sayonara celebration and disco were held, attended by approximately 200 people. The European Championships were organized by the Świnoujście Kyokushin Karate Academy, led by Sensei Paweł Sujka.

On December 12-13, 2025, the 5th Kyokushin World Championships took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with approximately 600 competitors representing 34 countries participating.
The championships included kumite and kata competitions for seniors, youth, juniors, juniors, cadets, and masters.
The President of the World Kyokushin Federation, Antonio Pinero, spoke during the official opening ceremony.
The championships were headed by Shihan Antonio Pinero (9th dan), and the technical judge was Shihan Fernando Perez (7th dan).
The competition was preceded by a refereeing seminar with over 60 judges.
After the competition, a Sayonara was held for everyone in a very exotic location.
The championship was organized by the Saudi Arabian Kyokushin Federation,
led by Sensei Abdulrahim Alshehri.

The 36th European Kyokushin Championships were held on 26-27 October 2024 at the Municipal Arena in Yerevan, Armenia. There were 332 competitors in kumite and kata competitions from 18 registered countries.
The following spoke at the official opening of the Championships: President of the World Kyokushin Federation Antonio Pinero, Secretary Andrzej Drewniak and representatives of the City Hall, the Ministry of Sport and sponsors.
The main judge of the championships was Shihan Antonio Pinero and the technical judge Shihan Fernando Perez. The competition was preceded by the International Referee Course, with the participation of over 50 referees, led by the Chairman of the International Refereeing Commission Fernando Perez.
On Saturday, the annual General Meeting of the European Kyokushin Federation took place, during which the reports of the Board in the organizational and financial areas were adopted. It was decided that the 6th KWF World Championships will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 15-16, 2025, the 37th European Championships in Swinoujscie on April 17-18, 2026, and the 7th KWF World Championships in Zaragoza, Spain in November 2027.
The draw and computer support of the championships were carried out by the professional company Kumitetechnology.
The organizer of the 36th ME was the Armenian Kyokushin Federation led by sensei Spartak Gasparyan.
